The analyst will have an opportunity to be part of the Variable Rate Product Marketing team, responsible for enhancing and supporting a live trading platform for Ipreo clients. Analysts will have the opportunity to learn Product Marketing, Project Management, Customer Service, Sales, Client Training, Product Development, and Data Research.
The analyst will gain an overall understanding of the investment banking business and how software applications make the business more efficient.
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Building client relationships
-Troubleshooting client issues over the phone and in-person
-Giving product demonstrations
-Conducting product training for new and existing clients
-Review and testing software applications to ensure they will meet the needs of your clients
-Support sales activities
Analysts will have significant exposure to all levels of management within Ipreo and its clients. This is a business opportunity in the financial & technology industries.
Requirements
The candidate must have the following:
o 0-1 years of professional experience, financial services or software support preferred.
o Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, exposure to a trading floor preferred
o Interested in learning about a trading application, QA testing, and client support
o Comfortable with exploring different types of technology (technology background / skills not required).
o Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
o Professional presentation skills
o Highly motivated and a self-starter
o Superior oral and written communication skills
o Thorough and detail oriented in tasks
o An ability to work independently and within a team dynamic
o An ability to multi-task across several clients and projects
