Experienced Web Sales Person Position Available
(Marketing Specialist)
Are you a superhero ad sales manager that’s hungry for a new opportunity? Do you thrive on the concepts of creating great campaigns for your clients? If so, FriendsEAT.com wants you.
FriendsEAT.com is a 3 year old food and dining social community, based in New York, that does millions of ad impressions a month and is growing rapidly. We are seeing an experienced Sales Person with the ability of selling business directory, banner ads, newsletters spots and/or event sponsorship.
This is a part-time position that will turn into a full time.
Requirements:
• Experience working in a small business or a start-up environment.
• Ad agency experience is highly desirab
• Generating own leads
• Experience working with Interactive Ad Agencies
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of business and advertising trends and the ability to translate this knowledge into advertising solutions for clients.
• Solid understanding of online advertising and marketing, including pricing structures and media types (e.g., banners, skyscrapers, box ads, email newsletters).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and flexible.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Documentation of progress in weekly reports
• Weekly 15 minute phone meeting
• Minimum of 10 hours a week commitment
• Positive work ethic and ability to exercise mature judgment.
• Ability to work independently as a motivated team player.
• Preference for a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Ability to think analytically, set priorities and meet deadlines.
