OPERATIONS MANAGER

Background
U’SAgains mission is to run a modern, commercial business in a professional and profitable manner while contributing to and participating in the absolute win win phenomenon of recycling.
Positions available
We seek an Operations Managers for U’SAgain’s used clothing operation in New York.
About the operation
U’SAgain collects used clothing through recycling bins and sells the clothing both in the USA and internationally. U’SAgain is an innovative company and is a marketleader in the used clothing business. Since starting the New York location in 2004 U’SAgain now operates with over 1,300 drop box locations in the extended New York area.
A used clothing operation in U’SAgain consists of three departments:
1. Outside Sales Department. The department’s staff locates sites for collection boxes and places U’SAgains red and white used clothing collection boxes.
2. Clothing Collection Department. The department collects the clothing from the boxes and brings them to U’SAgains warehouses. The operation employs 7 drivers and independent contractors in the transportation section.
3. Production, warehousing and sales: The department processes the clothing to be sold to customers all over the world. The warehouses processes and ships around 1 million pounds of used clothing per month.

Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of management experience from manufacturing, transportation and/or recycling industry
• Education, training or experience equivalent to an MBA certificate
• You need to have a proven track record as an advanced business leader
• Need to have a personal and professional preference of doing good
Reporting structure
The Operations Manager reports to the Regional Manager.
Training
The employment will begin with one month’s training about U’SAgain and the used clothing operation. Training will take place partly at our facility in New York and partly at the other locations. The next eleven months will contain a series of seminars and training sessions to assist you in your new job.
Travels
The job will require periodic travels in the U.S. and extended stays away from home, from time to time.
Wages and benefits
The salary ranges from $70,000 - $85,000 depending on qualifications.
The benefit package includes company subsidized health insurance.

Warehouse and office in Bronx, NY
Collection area: New York City, Long Island, Upstate New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut
