RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION
• Purchase of materials needed to support all aspects of company operations, including but are not limited to:
- - Packaging components
- - Manufacturing services of third-party manufacturers
- - Marketing/sales collateral materials (displays, POP, etc.)
- - Maintenance, repair and operating items to support headquarters activities
• Development of all new packages and related collateral materials to support Marketing requirements
• Bill of Material cost development on all new products including direct interface with third-party manufacturers on product-related costs.

• Effective management capabilities
• Strong analytical skills; ability to address alternative approaches to problem solving
• Solid background in costing with emphasis on establishing and controlling standard costs
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to suggest and implement new strategies and procedures
• Ability to work independently; self-motivated
• Ability to participate and interact effectively in a small company, less structured environment
• Strong interpersonal skills - direct interfaces include senior level management in Sales, Marketing and Finance, as well as Company ownership
• Ability to multitask
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced ability to work with ERP systems/solutions
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Bachelors Degree
• Experience:
- - Minimum 10-15 years experience in purchasing and package development with consumer packaged goods businesses; health/beauty experience a plus
- - Direct involvement with third party product manufacturers
- - Demonstrated supervisory responsibilities
