Looking to establish relationship with a seasoned, professional Ruby on Rails developer.
We manage a pipeline of Rails work that needs to get done. Some is project based, other portions are maintenance related.
No juniors. This is not a "work-your-ass-off-now, get-paid-later-equity-startup". Work with project managers to define project schedule and estimates; Commit to schedule; Deliver work; Invoice bi-weekly; Get paid.
Applicants will be reliable, mature, experienced professionals with years experience (regardless of your previous language) engaging clients, managing expectations, and delivering solid code.
All projects will be planned: expect 2 weeks heads up on any work, allowing you to manage your world.
Rates are open to negotiation.
Skills Rundown:
- Ruby / Ruby on Rails - Years experience per se not important - just prove you are HIGHLY productive with ActiveRecord, ERB
- Javascript / AJAX / JQuery
- CSS
- Linux (Don`t need to be a guru, but must know how to get around in bash)
Nice to Haves:
- HAML
