Freelance Patternmaker needed immediately for established import company in the blouse and shirt area. Someone who has experience in the moderate price area to work in fabrics such as satins, georgettes, all polyesters, as well as yarn dye cotton and stretch poplin casual shirts. Patterns are for Missy and Large sizes.
Basic patterns/slopers are available to work from. Patterns would be made here in the sample room as well as the first fits and the trace-off is sent to our factory overseas.
Ideal person would be able to make pattern as well as write comments to factory if needed and prepare a cutters must as well as cut first sample.
Because of a lack of available space in our sample room during the work day, we need someone who can work after 5pm any evening or Saturday and Sunday here in our sample room. We are open to work with someone who fits this need.
This position is on the books and a 1099 form will be issued at the end of the year.
Compensation: TBD
This is a part-time job.
