A major international consultancy is looking for a Senior Highways Engineer with design of major trunk roads in the UK experience and 5 years post graduation experience.
The required skills for the position include:
Good planning and organisational skills; problem solving and decision making; good communication skills (oral and written); competent teamwork & co-operation. Candidates should also display creativity & innovation, initiative & drive; people management; energy and flexibility.
Applicants should have a comprehensive knowledge of Design Manual for Roads and Bridges; good office skills - especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint; experience*ability to use MX (Moss), ARCADY or WinDes and AUTOCAD. Experience of UK Statutory procedures is also desirable. You will be technically competent in all aspects of Highways work; have experience of Design & Build contracts and previous experience in a Leadership role.
