Consultants (Medical Devices) Cambridgeshire
To use your technical and commercial acumen to manage and to create value on client assignments for medical products companies including medical device, clinical diagnostics and medtech companies.
The consulting work covered by the business unit includes:
Improving R & D performance for companies developing medical devices and clinical diagnostics Due diligence assignments for investors and companies undertaking mergers and acquisitions Evaluations of market and customer needs for companies developing new products Partner and product selection for companies proposing to licence or acquire new products Product and portfolio management for companies looking to identify and develop new innovative products Improving yields for manufacturing processes for complex medical products The distinctive feature we bring to our consulting work is the combination of industry understanding, market knowledge, and relevant in-depth technical expertise as well as proven consulting tools and methodologies.
Our consulting activities are centred primarily in the UK and Northern Europe, and the USA, although most of the work is based in their Cambridgeshire office.
You will be recruited to act as a project manager. In addition, you will be required to work as a consultant as a member of project teams, alongside other consultants and analysts.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Transaction support, including due diligence assessment and expert reports for public listings Strategy and planning, including product*portfolio valuation Market opportunity assessment and market modelling Product and portfolio management Partnering, licensing and outsourcing You will ideally have several years? experience in the medical devices industry in a product management, business development or project management role preferably in a multinational company.
Experience of consultancy with medical device companies would be an advantage.
You will have a degree in chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, physics or related area and possibly a PhD and or a MBA, plus experience of applying your knowledge to real world problems.
