Our client is actively looking to recruit a Contracts Administrator (Contract Engineer) for a LNG project based in Qatar.
Contracts Administrator for a JV of major Japanese and European EPC plant contractors that have been awarded the contract for this very large LNG project in Qatar, (the successful candidate will work for the Japanese side). Duties will include taking care of the JV?s commercial interests vis a vis the Owner (under the prime contract) and vis a vis (construction) subcontractors.
Candidates will require strong experience in contracts, 10 years experience of LNG or petro-chem plant projects, plus some overseas experience, preferably with Japanese contractors or in the Middle East. Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, some experience of using planning*scheduling software an advantage.
