Responsibilities will include: - Analysis of requirements. - Functional specification and task breakdown with peer review. - Design and implementation to agreed schedule. - Delivery of major new features in each release every 12-18 months with minor releases in between. - Working closely with peers to manage interdependencies, issues and risks. - Being aware of the big picture to ensure no regression caused by new code to an already multi-million lines of code product, and no compromise on the security and integrity of the product. - Continuously improving product quality, performance and supportability. - Meeting very tight deadlines to deliver to QA. Beta, ship on time.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Computer Science degree or equivalent. - 5-10 years C++. - Commercial exposure to C#. - Experience on significant R&D projects, not one-off projects. - Experience with All Microsoft technologies, Windows, Multi-threading, COM*DCOM, SQL, ADO, NT security. - Experience in full development lifecycle from design through test, good knowledge of design methodologies (UML).
