Receptionist - Ј13,000 + benefits - Cambridgeshire
A beautiful privately owned 3 star deluxe hotel located near Cambridge is seeking a Receptionist to join their established team.
The job responsibilities include:
* Welcoming and greeting guests upon arrival - check-in and out as required.
* Answering the telephone and dealing with any enquiries or forwarding the call to the appropriate department.
* Taking restaurant bookings.
* Administration tasks - preparing guest bills, liaising accurately with other departments.
* To ensure the reception area is operated in a well manner in order to create lasting impression to all customers.
* To show guests other areas in the hotel, such as the restaurants, business centre.
It is essential that you have previous experience as a receptionist in a busy hotel and are looking for a new challenge. The hotel has 2 restaurants, including a 2AA Rosette awarded restaurant. You will more likely be the first impression of the hotel so good presentation and communication skills are imperative. The role involves a pattern of late and early shifts - five days out of seven (weekends included).
The ideal person will be looking for a long term career in the hotel industry and seeking to develop their career in this hotel. The successful candidate will be outgoing, bubbly and a great first point of contact for the guest.
